Overview

We are a Japanese logistics company providing integrated transportation, customs brokerage, and warehousing distribution services globally. We are currently seeking motivated Sales, Clerical, and Administrative staff for our Irvine, CA warehouse. Ideally, we are looking for bilingual (English/Japanese) candidates who are organized, possess strong time management skills, and can learn our systems with minimal supervision.

Job Description

You will support our global logistics operations, ranging from administrative tasks to import/export coordination and warehouse management.

  • Logistics Operations (Import/Export A to Z):
    • Coordinate shipments (Air/Ocean) and communicate with customers, carriers, forwarders, and agents.
    • Handle customs clearance, FDA clearance, and AES filing.
    • Manage system entries (iLogi), issue invoices, and process payments.
    • Arrangement of trucking and shipping documents.
  • Administrative & Sales Support:
    • Communicate and negotiate with customers and vendors (new and existing accounts).
    • Perform general administrative duties including accounting support, HR assistance, and compliance management.
    • Manage filing, expense reports, and inventory documents.
  • Warehouse & Inventory Control:
    • Manage inventory for customers' machines/parts and purchase packing materials.
    • Perform warehouse work, including forklift handling (light workload).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Languages: Fluent in Japanese and English (Bilingual).
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS applications (Word & Excel).
  • Personal Skills: Accuracy, attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills. Capable of learning systems with minimal supervision.
  • Experience: Background in scheduling, cost control, clerical jobs, or system tools is preferred.
  • License: Forklift license is not essential but candidates with experience will be given preferential treatment.

Work Hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Holidays according to the SLA calendar.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Wages: $22.00 - 25.00 per hour (Payable twice a month)
